How to link naps

5m old baby on 2.5/2.5/2.5/2.5 is linking at night with 1-2 wakes and ducks her thumb but can’t link her middle nap- we have moved to 3 naps and she cries hard after one cycle and I need to rescue- any tips for how to get her to link would be most appreciated
