Preface: This is NOT a real/fake identification post. So, spare me the opinion. I do think they're real. Based on their built, tags and material quality, if not official, then OEM/gray market. Real, from pop mart's factories, nonetheless.

Allow me to flex a bit for finding a secret (with cloth tag too) and a Mokoko for an equivalent of $15 where I lived. Yes, that's the price for 2 of them. When they arrived, both are in pretty...miserable shape from prolonged and poor storage. They came with no key rings or cards. I'm still glad to have found them and am planning to refurbish them.

Chestnut Cocoa has her head badly squished and her fur matter. From my experience cleaning plushies, she appears to have been submerged and not properly dried, because holding her feels like the fillings have bunched up inside. I'm gonna eventually need to open her up and replace the fillings. That'll be a first time for me.

Mokoko needs a bath. Her scent pack seems to have been damaged, because she's giving off a medicinal smell, close to mothballs. I can feel the pack at the back of her head and am thinking about taking it out. One side of her head is squished our of shape too.

Both have minor stains of their faces too.

So, here are my questions, for those of you with experience refurbishing thrift store finds:

Any idea how to remove stains on the vinyl faces?

Tips on restoring a Mac's fur to as close as new as possible?

I've seen posts here in the past of contacting pop mart's customer service over wonky Bubus, and got sent instructions of how to massage them into shape. Anyone can help a Bubu rescuer out and share those instructions?

Any other suggestions for restoring these babies help. Thanks in advance.
