Amazon loop ghosting or did I actually get rejected?

Just went through the full TAM loop for EMEA and honestly thought I crushed it. Every interview felt super smooth, the deep dives clicked, and I genuinely walked away feeling like I nailed the Leadership Principles.

Fast forward to about 10 days later, and absolute radio silence. No email, nothing. Decided to check the Amazon Jobs portal out of curiosity and saw the position was completely wiped from the site, and my status changed to "no longer under consideration."

I actually went ahead and emailed the recruiter to check for updates, but still waiting to hear back. Kind of baffled because I genuinely thought I was a lock for the next steps. Has anyone else experienced this where the portal updates (or silently ghost-rejects you by taking down the listing) long before you actually get the rejection email? Or is there any chance of being put in a talent pool when this happens, or are the automated portal updates basically a guaranteed L?

Sucks to be left hanging this long after a heavy loop. Would love to hear how others handled this or if it's just standard Amazon recruiting chaos.
