Store forcing associates to be late

I don’t know if this is a company wide thing or just my store but they just made it where if you have a 5am shift you have to be there by 5:05 or they will lock you out until 6 and you will be forced to take the .5 or use ppto. I understand it’s not that hard to be on time but if you give up to a 9 minute leeway then why tf would you get mad if people use it.
