Pro3 battery

A week ago I switched from normal 4’s to Pro 3-rd gen and the battery life is absolute sh**. I am a frequent daily user and I notice that charging the case is necessary more frequently than the 4’s and airpods themselves seem to loose juice faster.
Has anybody observed the same in comparison and could it be that my settings are causing it?
Adaptive listening mode, conversational awareness on and spatial stereo off.
