8 mile ruck tomorrow, intercostal strain
I need to go on an 8 mile ruck tomorrow, just 25 pounds. However I've recently been dealing with an intercostal strain, pain in the muscles between my right ribs. It's not too noticeable during walking or sitting but running aggravates it and I'm not sure how my body will react to tomorrow's ruck. I assume I should primarily use the hip strap as opposed to the chest strap to keep more weight on my hips as opposed to my chest. I have painkillers both with and without NSAIDs, kinesthetic tape, Ace wraps, icyhot, and biofreeze. Falling out is not an option. Any recommendations/advice?
