Recently started fantasising about my wife with someone else — are there compromises without actually doing it?
Bit of an unusual one.
Recently I’ve found myself getting turned on by the idea of my wife being with another man. I’m not entirely sure where it’s come from, but the fantasy itself definitely does something for me.
The thing is, I don’t particularly want to ask her to actually sleep with someone else. In reality I can see all sorts of potential complications — jealousy, emotions afterwards, changing the dynamic of our marriage, etc. A fantasy and the reality could obviously be very different.
So I’m curious whether anyone else has had this fantasy but deliberately kept it as a fantasy.
Are there ways couples have explored the idea together without actually involving another person? Maybe something that gives some of the excitement/taboo of it while keeping things firmly between the two of you?
Interested to hear from people who’ve been in a similar position — particularly whether exploring the fantasy made it stronger, satisfied the curiosity, or made you realise you were better off keeping it imaginary.
