Our granddaughter turned 12, and when she told us she wanted to have her birthday party at our “resort,” there was absolutely no way we were going to say no! 🎉🏊 On a beautiful summer day, the pool was ready, the family and friends arrived, and we captured her 12th birthday pool party in gorgeous 4K.

Come along and see what a 12-year-old's birthday pool party looks like when the weather cooperates and everyone is ready to have some fun!

After all the work we've put into our backyard and swimming pool, days like this are exactly what make it worthwhile. Instead of just looking at the finished pool, this video shows it being used for what we really wanted it for — bringing family together and creating memories.

Our granddaughter decided that our backyard was the perfect place for her birthday celebration, or as she likes to think of it, her own private “resort.” 😎

With the sun shining and a beautiful pool waiting for everyone, it turned into the perfect setting for a summer birthday party.

In this 4K birthday pool party video, you'll get a look at the pool, the party atmosphere, the kids enjoying the water, and everything that made this such a special day. There's nothing complicated about this one — just family, fun, swimming, sunshine and a granddaughter celebrating the big 1-2!

If you're planning a summer birthday pool party yourself, this also gives you a look at how much fun a simple backyard pool party can be. You don't necessarily need an elaborate venue when you've got a swimming pool, good weather, friends, family and plenty of energy!

And for those of you who have followed our pool videos, this is another chance to see the finished pool actually being enjoyed. We've shared plenty of videos covering the pool, equipment, maintenance, water testing and projects around the backyard. But ultimately, THIS is what all that work is for.

Creating a place where the grandchildren want to spend their birthdays is pretty hard to beat.

Happy 12th Birthday! 🎂🎉🏊
