Armodafinil - totally tasteless?

The armodafinil that I received from ModafinilXL is tasteless. I read that it typically has a metallic taste, and I’ve never had a pill that is truly tasteless. Are these duds?

I tried 150mg yesterday and it had no effect, so I am trying 225mg today.
