Frontend engineer with 7 YoE targeting remote roles - looking for resume and positioning advice
I’m a frontend engineer based in Nigeria, targeting remote frontend engineer roles across SaaS, Web3, and product-focused teams. Most of my previous roles came through referrals, direct outreach, or client work, so I’m trying to improve how my resume performs in regular applications.
Since I started applying through job boards and company websites, I’ve been getting automated rejections and no interviews so far. I’m trying to figure out whether the issue is my resume, my positioning, remote/location filters, or the types of roles I’m targeting and any tips would be appreciated
I’d appreciate feedback on whether my bullets show enough engineering depth, whether the resume looks too frontend-framework focused, and whether adding 2-3 deployed solo projects would help. I’m also open to feedback on layout, wording, and what should be cut, reordered, or rewritten.
