Your opinion about Ho-Ri Shugo?

Discussion

It is clear that full assessments require much more time, but share your first impressions.

My impression is this: the tank is okay, but I'm not satisfied with it, I want more.

The mobility are normal, exactly the same as Ho-Ri 3 (I didn't install the speed mod, because I was gaining experience at lvl 11, so the Ho-Ri 3 has a potentially higher maximum speed). There are no questions about the gun either, it's a great gun.

And now about the disadvantages:

The tank is huge. It's a little shorter than the Ho-Ri 3, but it's significantly fatter. And in general, if Ho-Ri 3 has a very interesting appearance (some people don't like it, but I took this branch for free primarily because I liked the appearance of Ho-Ri), and it is quite unique: it is relatively narrow, but tall. Then Shugo loses this feature. Although it was possible not to do this, because the tank is still fictional, they could have "invented" it differently, more similar to Ho-Ri 1-3. But okay, it still looks okay (although not as iconic), but the larger size is a negative.

Armor. I didn't feel any improvement at all, still generally weak armor that bounces sporadically. The cabin is potentially better, but it can't be rotated. Also, the tank has a huge lower armor plate, which is hard to hide. I felt that playing from the terrain on Shugo was no better than on Ho-Ri 3, because you often show the lower armor plate anyway.

Rocket. Overall, the mechanics are quite interesting and even cool. But the rocket is either too weak, or it doesn't fit into the tank concept. Out of the 8 battles I played today on this tank, I only managed to fully use this missile in one battle, hitting a new Italian with 500 hp. The Ho-Ri line is a support tanks for heavy tank directions. This missile is almost useless against armored tanks. This tank simply has no place to use a rocket in at least half of the battles. I shot Taschenratte twice today for 30 damage, lol.

I see two ways to improve the missile. The first is to convert it from HЕ to HESH with a penetration of about 200. Then this missile will be better against armored tanks, but will not be more threatening to tanks such as TDs from the branch that ended at level 9 (600 damage is still 600). The second option is to add stun as when hit by artillery. If I can't do any noticeable damage to armored tanks, at least give me a chance to annoy them and use the aid kit once again.

It's hard to draw a conclusion, because we don't even have the statistics from the servers yet. I think it won't be bad, and the tank generally doesn't require improvements to avoid being weak, because it's definitely not weak. But I still think the tank needs improvements, because it's somehow pretty bland at first glance.
