When people don't cover their mouth when the cough/sneeze or cover their mouth with their hands

Genuinely why? Like, I don't want to get sicker than I already am but then people will come along and just spread their germs all over and around them and I have to avoid like it's 14th century Europe and the bubonic plague is rampant. The worst is when I'm in somewhere like a car or a room and I can't actually move away from them so I'm in proximity to their cough and it's just soooo groooosssssssss.
