Dublin-Based Actor Moving to London

Hi all,

Not aware if a similar post has been uploaded but I am a 24 year old, Dublin-Based Actor, and have made the decision to move to London once I have the financial means/backing to do so.

So, my question is simply, How much should I have saved behind me before going over considering I want to pursue acting over there and would applying for work before going be more of a benefit compared to handing in CV's once I'm over there as I am not savvy with the scene over there as of yet.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Especially from fellow actors!
