[M4M] Italian writer looking for a long-term RP partner | Dark Romance • Historical • Dark Fantasy • Angst
27+ | M4M | Third person | Past tense | Long-form | Italian | Reddit DMs
Hi! I'm looking for a long-term M4M roleplay partner.
I'm 27+ and I've been roleplaying for several years. I'm relatively new to Reddit, but I'm learning the platform quickly and I'm happy to adapt.
I write in third person, past tense, with a literary writing style. I particularly enjoy long, detailed replies, where there is enough space to develop the characters, their thoughts, the atmosphere and the story.
My favourite genres are historical, fantasy and dark fantasy, with a strong preference for dark romance.
I'm especially interested in dynamics and tropes such as:
- enemies to lovers
- slow burn
- angst
- forbidden relationships
- morally grey characters
- obsession
- betrayal
- power dynamics
- political intrigue
- secrets and hidden motives
- hurt/comfort
- complicated relationships
I'm not particularly interested in simply picking a pre-existing character and throwing them into a generic plot. I love creating new characters specifically for each story, and I really enjoy developing the characters, setting and plot together with my partner.
That said, if you already have a plot you've been wanting to play, I'm absolutely willing to adapt to your idea and build it together from there.
I'm also comfortable with NSFW/intimate scenes when they make sense within the story and serve a purpose for the characters or plot. I'm not looking for something where the sexual aspect is the entire point of the roleplay.
I write in Italian. I'm fluent in English and can communicate in it without problems, but since it isn't my native language, my writing would naturally be affected. If Reddit's automatic translation works well enough, however, I'm open to trying it.
I prefer to roleplay directly through Reddit DMs and I don't use Discord.
As for my partner, I'd ideally like someone 27+, literate, comfortable with long-form writing and genuinely interested in collaborative storytelling. I'm much more interested in quality and substance than reply frequency.
I use he/him or they/them pronouns.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, feel free to DM me! Tell me a little about yourself, what you like to write, and whether you already have a plot in mind. I'm also more than happy to brainstorm something completely new together.
