It has been 10 years of the Great Asian War and both the United States, it’s allies and China have been bogged down in a seemingly never-ending war for the South China Sea and the Indo-Pacific, with the recent struggle for Taiwan being won by the United States and it’s allies in the region, a invasion of Mainland China, Operation Downfall II seemed inevitable for the Chinese Government, although China managed to inflict mass casualties on the US Navy, the war on land told a different story, the US Marine Corps 1st MEF and Army‘s 2nd Infantry Division were gearing up for a invasion of the Chinese Mainland, from Taiwan and the recently capitulated North Korea respectively, faced with this threat, the PRC put nuclear annihilation on the table if a last ditch defensive counterattack towards American-aligned assets fails. Ultimately, the Chinese Armed Forces efforts were desperate with some success, but it was not enough to defend against a full scale invasion.

As reports of the 2nd Infantry Division crossing the Yalu river came to Beijing, the only solution to preserve the PRC was a preemptive nuclear strike on American and allied targets to force a surrender.
