Why I think wet dreams don't matter (for me and maybe for others too)
Day 236 of SR rn. I've had many wet dreams in this journey. But not even one of them drained me. And they don't affect my benefits at all. That's why I don't reset the counter. But I think there is an explanation for this, mainly by Swami Sivananda.
The power is not in the semen. It's unseen and can be felt in the perineum and the spine. It is this energy that people refer to as that calming energy.
When a person has sex or masturbates, the nervous system gets agitated, and he/she loses energy that is equal to 8-10 days of manual labour (Swami Sivananda). It is this agitation of the nervous system that causes the loss of energy. While having wet dreams we are not agitated in the least.
When we have wet dreams, it is not the essence but the leakage of prostatic juice only. It is caused when the astral body gets agitated and suddenly tries to enter our causal body (Swami Sivananda)
When you have sex or masturbate, you are sweating, your heart rate rises, you can feel the sexual energy violently descending into the lower centers, right? It is these reactions that cause the loss, which don't happen in wet dreams.
