Recommendation: Aerial/Dance back warmer

I got diagnosed with a herniated disc (L5/S1) at the end of July. Ended up in the ER and the PT I saw there recommended trying an aerial/dance back warmer once I was starting to be able to walk again. It's basically a compression tube for your waist that helps supports your spine.

For context, I'm still mostly bed/couch bound nearly 6 weeks after the injury. I can walk/stand for probably 2-3 minutes before needing to lay back down. This time is shortened if I have to do any bending. Walking is easier than standing still, with standing on hard floors being the worst. I do PT twice a week with dry needling but am taking this week off while she's on vacation. Hoping to go down to once a week when she's back.

I was skeptical of the back warmer at first but was able to find one that was relatively inexpensive ($25) on Amazon and would be easy to return if I didn't like it. To my surprise, it's helped reducing the pain down my leg tremendously.

Walking without it always included some pain in my thigh and calf that I just put up with until I couldn't anymore. With the back warmer I can walk probably twice as long, which admittedly still isn't that long, but that time is completely pain free. When I'm having small flare ups in pain, putting on the back warmer gets rid of it or at least reduces it almost immediately.

I had never heard of this product before so I just wanted to let people know about it in case it can help anyone else.
