Approved 14WD ! (Switch from Fiancé Visa to Spouse Visa)

If some of you here haven't seen my profile or posts before, I had a terrible experience with my Fiancé visa application, outside the UK and priority service. It took 142 WD and I was terrified of how the switch to spouse visa was gonna turn out.

We chose standard service this time, as we did not believe we would get a faster decision by choosing priority. Honestly, it may be worth for some people but it was NOT worth for us. We were expecting 8 weeks standard time, possibly delay email. Honestly we expected the worst.

Application Submitted: 2nd of August

Bio: 13th of August

Approval Email: 2nd of September

But I want to give you guys some hope, it was a very quick decision and it's finally over until 2029. We are really happy and for anyone having a terrible experience like we did in the past, it does get better and a delay in decision does not mean refusal automatically!

For anyone interested, we submitted an index with and then all documents were separated into categories. Whether this helped or not, I can't fully tell. But I do think we organised our documents better this time around and extensively provided information so there would be no requests for further documentation.
