How many monitors is too many?

I've been staring at my desk setup lately watching my screen real estate creep up, and it made me wonder where the actual line is between a productive battle station and an absolute cockpit lmao... Two screens feels like the sweet spot for a lot of people (this is my current setup too tbh), but I feel like once you start adding vertical monitors, ultra-wides, or random tablets acting as side displays, things do start getting kinda chaotic.. How many screens are you currently running? and at what point does a multi-monitor setup cross the line from genuinely useful into total overkill?
