PA vs MD

I’m currently 24. I just turned 24 in June . I should be finished with my bachelors of kinesiology by time im 26/27 would you recommend going the MD route or the PA route sometimes I think about med school but I feel like I should’ve started way earlier if I wanted to do that but due to health issues I had to drop classes which didn’t hurt my transcript just feel like it set me back I can’t decide what I’m gonna do. I know I need to make some type of of money soon I’m currently a medical assistant at a cardiology office ❤️

Would you recommend taking the MCAT and GRE and go from there ?
