के लगातार झगड़े, husband पर parents से अलग रहने का pressure, parents को salary देने पर objection और बाद में लगाए गए unproved extra-marital affair allegations—Delhi High Court ने इन परिस्थितियों के cumulative effect को matrimonial cruelty माना.

Court ने माना कि लगातार pressure, humiliation और spouse के character पर unsupported allegations ordinary marital disagreements से आगे जाकर mental cruelty बन सकते हैं.

Cruelty सिर्फ physical violence नहीं होती. लगातार mental harassment भी marriage को खत्म करने का legal ground बन सकता है.

हर husband को अपने legal rights और remedies की जानकारी होनी चाहिए.
