Denon AVR Remote for Windows now includes a full HEOS/DLNA music player

Other

Hi everyone,

I posted an early version of my Windows remote here a few months ago. Since then, Denon AVR Remote has grown from basic AVR controls into a much more complete HEOS/DLNA desktop player.

The latest version adds:

• Playback of music files and entire folders from your PC through HEOS/DLNA

• Subfolder browsing, cover art and metadata

• Album transfer to the receiver’s native HEOS queue

• Automatic discovery of UPnP/DLNA music servers

• HEOS playback controls with artwork, track details and progress

• Custom Radio with editable HTTP/HTTPS stream URLs

• Receiver, signal-format and channel information

The original controls are still included: power, volume, mute, inputs, sound modes, automatic receiver discovery and manual IP connection.

Everything runs over the local network. Settings stay local, with no advertising or analytics. A free trial is available, followed by a one-time purchase.

I’m the developer, and this is an independent application not affiliated with or endorsed by Denon or Marantz. Feedback and compatibility reports from different receiver models would be very helpful.
