Because my son is, and I want to know if this would be something he’d enjoy.

I have only done very surface level research into the game before remembering Reddit exists. From what I understand, this is a free download. It’s a battle simulator, for lack of a better term. Do I have to import Pokémon myself, or is this kind of like Stadium where he can just use some in-game Pokémon?

Also, I think I read there’s no real CPU or bot opponents, is this true? If it’s some sort of ranked thing, is he going to lose every single match if he’s just mashing buttons to watch them fight? It would be less frustrating for him if he has a chance at winning even at the lowest ranks.
