Uveitis?

For two days it has felt like there is a needle in my eye every time I blink but there’s nothing there. My rheumatologist said I have uveitis based on photos I’ve shown him in the past and told me to see my eye doctor the next time it happened to confirm.

My husband keeps urging me to get it checked out but I hate going to the doctor for something that isn’t actually an issue and I don’t want them to think I’m a hypochondriac.

How do I know if it’s inflammation or just irritation?

I was diagnosed with SLE, fibromyalgia, and palindromic rheumatism in 2013.
