Looking for food reccos from locals

I'm travelling to Chicago with my husband & 6 year old from the UK for the Marathon (husband is the runner, not me!). Looking for some recommendations from the locals on where to eat! We're both big foodies so nothing is off the table, providing it is also family friendly/ has a kids menu. We're staying pretty central in West Loop.
