Thinking of shifting from Nallurahalli to Indiranagar

My wife and I currently live in Nallurahalli. She just landed a new job with an office near Trinity metro station (she gets WFH options, though).

I’m currently paying ₹42k (including maintenance) for a gated society in Nallurahalli. I’m okay stretching the budget a bit, and Indiranagar is looking super tempting for a couple of reasons:

• Infrastructure upgrade: Proper roads, no open sewage lines, way less dust, and just cleaner overall.
• Vibe & food: Insane number of options for food, cafes, and shopping right around the corner.

The main catch? My commute will definitely get longer while my wife gets to work from home.

Anyone made a similar move from Whitefield/Nallurahalli to Indiranagar? Is the boost in quality of life worth the extra travel time for me
