Not sure and Need some advice… thanks in advance

A friend gifted me a Henson al13 safety razor about 8 months ago (top of the year) to get me comfortable with the idea of safety razors. He showed me how to go light with the pressure and how to let the weight of the razor do the work. After doing some research to build out a more personalized shaving experience, I noticed that the Henson razor comes in mild, medium, and aggressive. I didn't realize he gave me the aggressive version of the razor, which is probably what worked best for his hair. When my hair grows out im probably a medium coarse hair.

Im curious to know what the medium Henson al13 would feel like. I shave every 2 to 3 days now and the current one doesn't give me any irritation. My friend says, I shave like I'm scared because I do shave slow lol. My friend recommended I try another blade first and keep practicing before buying another razor or the Henson medium razor. He did recommend I could also try the Rockwell (adjustable).

So I'm wondering, should I buy the Henson medium razor/Rockwell razor since I want to start shaving every other day consistently (daily on rare occasions) OR do I keep the aggressive Henson my friend gave me and just try new blades with it?
