EK4 VTI intake choice

Hi there, I have an ek4 VTi thats bone stock besides having a 50mm one box exhaust. I want to get a new intake for my car and I was wondering what is better for VTEC sound as well as performance. Is a whale intake from Simota better or getting a short ram intake?
