Staying at Mauro’s in Gamboa Community

An other good review if you are considering to book a trip into the forest, Mauro is a solid option to have an good experience of wilderness. We stayed 4 days, 2 nights in the house, 1 in the jungle, we did a daytime and a night walks. We went to an animal shelter in Aldea. We did some boating to see the wildlife at sunset. We went to the beach to swim in the river and watch the dolphins. We chilled a bit as well on the deck to enjoy the beautiful scenery and sounds. Food was always plentiful and we hadn’t been sick at any point. Considering you are into a rainforest, rooms are basic but provided with clean linens and mosquito nets. We met some really interesting local people and guests. You are actually staying with the whole family and you can see how people live through generations. One thing I liked a lot is : since a lot of people booked through WhatsApp directly after reading good reviews here on Reddit, people were young and open minded. To conclude, I think 4 days there were the right amount of time to enjoy the sights and activities. 3 is a bit short because you arrive on a day, settle a bit and do not much, second day full day and last day you leave at 3. 5 might be long, you’ll want to head out somewhere else to an other community or else.
Thanks guys and girls, have a good time out there
