[Academic Survey] Pipeline Leak & Defect Detection — Seeking NDT Perspectives

Hi everyone!

I’m an ECE student working on my final-year academic project on pipeline defect detection using acoustic emission signals and machine learning. The idea is to detect defects such as leaks by analyzing acoustic/vibration signals generated by the defect.

I’m currently conducting a short survey for the need analysis and feasibility study of the project, and I’d really appreciate perspectives from NDT professionals.
