Small YouTubers: what takes more time for you, scripting or editing?

Tech Question

Hey everyone!

I've been wondering about the workflow of small creators who do most things themselves.

Between these two, which one usually takes more time for you?

1. Scripting — researching, organizing ideas, writing, figuring out the hook, rewriting, etc.

2. Editing — cutting footage, subtitles, audio, B-roll, effects, organizing files, etc.

If you don't mind sharing:

  • What part takes the most time?
  • Roughly how many hours does it take per video?
  • Is there anything you currently do to make the process faster?

I'm curious to see how different people's workflows are.
