The decimation of Xandar where it should’ve been shown

Rewatching Infinity War with my friends now and we’re at the part with Gamora talking to Thanos. We agree it is at this point Thanos should’ve said to Gamora, “You feel all this decimation is not needed? I’m trying to bring balance to an already overpopulated universe. Xandar all they had to do was give up the Power Stone instead they chose to fight back.” Using the Reality Stone Thanos shows a flashback showing the attack on Xandar showing both Dey and Nova Prime being restrained as Thanos breaks down the vault, grabs the Power Stone, puts the Stone in the Infinity Gauntlet and emerges from the vault. Thanos then points the Gauntlet at Dey and Prime and fires a blast from the Power Stone causing the two to convulse as the power overpowers them then they explode as Thanos exits showing outside the planet being decimated.
