Steelseries Apex Pro Mini - CTRL Key not working well

Hello! Just went from having a regular keyboard to this one. When I press ctrl after certain actions it doesn't work well. For example after doing alt + tab, and then trying to do ctrl + a (to select all) the ctrl doesn't seem to go through, this happens with any ctrl shortcuts really, please help!!
