I can confidently say that Snapchat is the worst-made social media platform out there.

First off, texting on it is absolutely horrendous. Chats are all deleted after 24 hours for some reason, and the idea of Snaps is just stupid. If the image you're sending can only be viewed one time and will be gone in a few hours anyway, it's really not anything worth sending.

Besides that, the actual spam that is app pushes is insane. You literally get a notification for everything. Each individual message sent, along with whenever a person starts typing gives you a notification, and unless you're fine with your phone going off 24/7 if you're in a group chat, it's seriously irritating. And on top of that the app has the audacity to send you LITERAL EMAILS telling you to view your messages. Fuck you.

And don't even get me started on the lack of privacy on this app. It's always visible when a person is online, whether they're on Snapchat, are they looking at the chat or not, and so on. And do I need to even explain Snap Map? This app has to be a utopia for predators considering just adding someone on the app let's you see their location (and often where they live) and their age. Yeah.

Overall, this app is horrendous. There are so many stupid, useless features that make it irritating to use, the spam it pushes can make it borderline unusable if you have more than like 5+ active contacts (god save you if you're in a group chat) and the lack of privacy is worrying. Fuck this stupid app, I hope it goes bankrupt.

I Actually Despise Snapchat
