The skill level in Master/GM is honestly embarrassing

The amount of genuinely bad players sitting in Master and Grandmaster right now is ridiculous. I’ve seen so many drafts that make zero sense — people picking champions they clearly don’t understand, zero awareness of power spikes, no idea when their champ is actually strong in the game. It’s not even “one bad game,” it’s a pattern.

What confuses me the most is why Riot still lets people climb just by grinding games instead of actually requiring a real skill jump. Lower ranks exist for a reason. If someone is still making these basic mistakes, they shouldn’t be allowed to keep ranking up just because they play enough games.

I'm curious if others in "high elo" are seeing the same thing, or if I’m just getting unlucky with these players.
