After playing Classic Vexana during the 10th Anniversary Nostalgia event, I honestly think she deserves to stay in the game in some form.

I'm not asking Moonton to remove or replace the current Vexana. Her current gameplay is much smoother and fixes many of the problems the old version had.

But there's something that really struck me while playing Classic Vexana:

Classic Vexana and Modern Vexana almost feel like completely different characters.

Apart from the passive, first skill, and second skill being based on the same concepts (with major changes to things like damage, range, speed, and crowd control), almost everything about her identity changed.

Her appearance changed dramatically. Her ultimate changed completely. Her overall fantasy changed.

Classic Vexana was an actual dark necromancer. Her old ultimate wasn't just another generic damage ability either — she made a pact/curse with the target, dealt initial damage, and then the target continued taking damage for several seconds. The damage-over-time couldn't be purified.

That's an incredibly unique concept.

And honestly, the old gameplay did have problems. Her skills were slow, her second skill had a small area, her damage took time to come out, and her ultimate even made her stop moving for a noticeable delay before applying the curse.

But here's the thing:

Moonton fixed the gameplay problems, but they didn't really preserve the essence of the character.

They completely changed her visual identity and her ultimate, and turned her into something that feels almost like a different character.

So why not preserve both?

Maybe Classic Vexana could become a permanent alternate version of Vexana. Maybe her old kit could be modernized while keeping the old identity. Maybe she could even be reworked slightly and introduced as a separate character with a different name/lore.

There are MOBAs and other games where the same character concept can exist in different versions, forms, classes, or identities. Why couldn't Vexana have something similar?

I'm not saying Moonton has to use one specific solution. I just don't want Classic Vexana to disappear again.

The Nostalgia event already proves that Classic and Modern Vexana can coexist in the same match.

So why not make it permanent?

Modern Vexana can remain exactly as she is. Classic Vexana could exist alongside her as an alternate version, a separate character, or whatever solution makes the most sense.

Because after actually playing her again, it feels like Moonton didn't simply rework Vexana.

They replaced one character with another.

And now, for the first time in years, we're able to play the character that was lost.

Please don't take her away again. 🥲

Let the necromancer live.

Please let Classic Vexana stay permanently 🥲
