What to use for bedding?

I will be living in my car very soon and I’m not sure what to use for my bed. I thought of a blow up mattress but I’m just wondering if there’s any other options? I did see a video of someone building a bed platform but I have no idea how to build anything lol. If I was to get a piece of wood, what would we be the best thing to put on top of it?
