Gemini home assistant has been so bad the last week

Is anyone else having a horrible experience with Gemini home assistant recently? Was working perfectly fine until this past week so not sure what has changed. Constantly getting things wrong, turn off the basement lights, "I have turned the basement lights off" , no they are not off turn them off, "they are off". Sometimes it will turn off all the lights in the house when I just want one thing off.

Go into the Google home app on my pixel phone and that works fine so it's not a bug with Google home, so not sure what the hell Gemini is connecting to. It's getting so annoying and now there is no option to stop using Gemini so stuck with it.
