[Reality TV] Redditors Impact Restraining Order Battle between Estranged Cast Members

Fans and haters of two cast members of the Bravo tv show "The Valley" have involved themselves in some real drama.

Brittany Cartwright has long been featured on the show, sharing a story that involves divorce and domestic violence. She recently received a temporary restraining order (TRO) against her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jax Taylor. Jax Taylor requested and received a TRO in response, citing Brittany's interference with his attempt to regain brand deals and reality tv show work, all following sobriety and mental health work. In his TRO evidence package, Jax includes messages about Brittany's alleged interference with an influencing deal for Smartwater, amongst other instances of disparagement. Members of TheValleyUncensored sub are now claiming responsibility for the reach outs to Smartwater and other brands, all to block Taylor from ever working again. It is unclear how Taylor came into knowledge or possession of their DMs to the brand(s) for his legal filings. They allege Taylor came to the messages by doomscrolling Reddit, or his current partner, a PR exec, did the same.

The Redditors seek to remain anonymous. They cannot prove that they are not Taylor, his PR exec/girlfriend, Lori Krebs, or Cartwright herself, or anyone connected to these people.

Cartwright remains subject to a restraining order, barring her from speaking negatively about her ex, as a result, in part, of this interference/Reddit activity. She is concurrently seeking sole custody of the child she shares with Jax. Filming of the reality tv show is reportedly on pause.

The Redditors view this duping as a great accomplishment. Upcoming court hearing on September 24th.
