Despite the uncountable issues yesterday, Chase and Status was an absolute incredible vibe. They came hot out the gate with some favorites, liquor and cigarettes, on the block, badadan, etc. flowdan coming out live, virji dnb remix. The middle part of the set got very experimental with great beats and slowed down the vibe, and finished incredibly strong. Ton of space to dance, despite having to huddle forward to avoid the midway sound bleed (which was sadly very obvious during breaks).

It was really edc levels of sound pollution but somehow worse cause it was during breaks.

Anyway just the vibes were incredible, people were dancing and singing along and was an incredible time with the sun setting.

Nervous for day 2 but hopefully they can work a miracle tuning these line arrays, not sure when they can start day 2 sound check with curfew and whatnot but praying the sound engineers got a good night of sleep. I can’t imagine how stressed they are and fuck ups of this magnitude are clearly a management issue and not a one off thing that a sound engineer fucked up on their own. Probably limited planning and scheduling, Wishing you guys the best we appreciate all the work you are putting in. I know there’s a ton behind the scenes so we are still optimistic!!!

Thanks Chase and Status
