Cutest but Most Annoying Cat Moment

I tagged this family and relationships because our cats are our furry children and her furry siblings!

I had the cutest yet most annoying moment with our 10w baby and our youngest cat last night! It was 2 am. My husband had been fighting to calm the baby and put her down because she woke up (which was earlier than her usual time. Normally she sleeps until 3:30-4 once we put her down for the night).

My husband and I are already running on little sleep because she's either awake or being so loud in her sleep that not even the TV or noise machine drowns her out. So we're struggling. She finally goes down again, my husband goes into the living room to decompress, I try to lay down and sleep. Here enters our youngest cat.

He jumps in her crib. No biggie he's done it before, but he usually stays at the bottom away from her. Nope, not last night. Last night, he decides he really wants pets. From a 10 week old baby. So he starts purring up a storm, rubbing all over her, and headbutting her. So cute right?? Except it's TWO AM SON STOP. So now instead of sleeping, we're playing sentry to the crib to stop him from trying to wake her up to get pets.

All in all, my husband didn't go to bed at all until 8 am, and I got maybe four hours of broken sleep throughout the night. But the baby slept good though when she finally went down!

Why didn't we close the door you might ask? He can open them. He's too smart for his and our own good.
