Quality of Savile Row after productions moved to Italy

Hello everyone, I'd have a question about the quality of the eyewear of the new Savile Row productions that have moved to Italy. What do people say about any changes on the quality of the frames? Are there remarkable differences in the previous models made in England and the now new ones made in Italy? My local shop which I respect a lot and who used to have the English models mentioned that "the manufacturing process has completely changed and no longer reflects the English traditional craftsmanship". That would be sad news as I like my current older model of Savile Row and hoped to buy at some point models in the future too - so I am looking here for opinions if that statement about Savile Row can be confirmed or is rather untrue.
