Mod Discussion

Ok. so I asked Gemini to suggest mods to make the game look newer and more detailed (like everyone else, I know). It suggested the following in order:

The 3 HD Landscapes mods along with the 3 part HD Retexture Project mods, all in 2k, as a broad base to cover virtually everything in the game (a more beefy Vivid AIO if you will - and I’m not a fan of the look of Vivid‘s ground).

Under that it suggested Langley’s.

Then Flaconoil

Then Valius

Logic being that each of the last three are more “artistic/quality” mods and while they don’t get everything, what they do get they are the best at.

I’m on Series X, so more than “is this a good choice?” I’m curious about whether you think, first, if this is too redundant and I’m just overwriting the thing that’s overwriting the thing that’s already pretty good and second about its choice for the order of the bottom three. Langley and Flaconoil’s do so much that my squishy brain has never been able to keep track of which is better at what and which touches more textures. I know the wooden walls in buildings from Langley’s really stood out to me when I last used it and the rusty cars from Flaconoil’s were perfection. The bricks and other stuff kinda blend together in my memory. All of it excellent, but I wonder which you’d recommend to be above the other. Or if either should be below Valius. Thanks for the thoughts!
