Why didn't Pentious just wait for his wings to grow and then visit the hotel?

So in S2 Ep2 we can see that Pentious has small wings and in S2 Ep7 he uses them to fly in "Live to live". So why couldn't he just fly down to the hotel after the finale instead of using Emily as a postal service?
