New to sales, added territory. How to hit quota?

Hey everyone. New to sales and selling scientific capital equipment. US was previously split into 2 territories, but I was hired to make a 3rd territory. Past sales avg for the region has been 2M per year, my quota is about 1.75 times that.

Sales price is 50-500k and cycle time is 1-18 months. How should i go about hitting quota and upping numbers for the territory?
