Am I going to get scammed? Ordered a Galax RTX 3080 from Amazon.in
I recently ordered a Galax RTX 3080 from Amazon. It was the last one remaining. After ordering, it shows up as "Order Recieved: We will email you when we have an estimated delivery date."
It's sold by a third-party, fulfilled by Amazon.
After digging in a little bit, i found out the 3rd party seller is likely unauthorised because on the official Galax amazon page, their name is not listed as one of the official sellers.
This means that I won't have access to official warranty either! On the original listing it had mentioned I would get 3 years of warranty!
After seeing this, i got even more worried. I looked at the seller's amazon page. There, they say:
...
Cancellation Policy: Customers can cancel items as long the shipping process isn't started. Per policy, we charge the customer for handling charges of 20% on the order amount if the customer raises cancellation post we initiate the order or import process.
this raised even bigger red flags.
It's currently on this page on "Track this package":
Am I going to get scammed?
If I cancel it, are they going to take 20%? This raises huge red flags for the platform.
Please help me out.
