do bosses get easier or something?? (read body)

i'm not sure if its just me, but does a boss get a shit ton easier if you lose to them multiple times??? on my first 2 fights with kallamar i couldn't even get him down to half hp, but on the third i killed him before he could even use his holy grenade ONCE??
