Challenge not tracking

Some challenges not tracking, some are but the edge of the blade challenge for the kitchen knife mastery isn't tracking for me, I destroyed 2 noisemakers in my previous game and is still showing 0/90. Will i not be able to progress my knife mastery until it is fixed or does it just take a while to register the challenge?
