Advice on swapping a Rolex?

Hi all, I bought an OP last year which I then loved but now I’m in love with the jubilee bracelet. I don’t see myself wearing the OP anymore and don’t know what to do with it tbh.

Is it wise to trade it in for a datejust jubilee (mine was bought from an official retailer after being on the waitlist for a while). But the watch I would probably get in the swap would be decades old. I haven’t really done much research but I do see the gold and stainless steel ones from 1980s being sold at the similar value as to what I would get for my 2025 OP.

Any advice would be appreciated. I have heard if you sell your Rolex you can be blacklisted is that true? Or am I better off selling my OP and then buying a brand new datejust jubilee by being on the waitlist and adding in the extra cash?

I know swapping is in a way selling too but I am just too bored of the watch in 1 year already. All original paperwork, warranty, box etc.
