Religions need to keep up with time...

I feel like religions need to keep up with the times.

Pre-marital sex is prohibited in all three Abrahamic religions, however, with the cost-of-living crisis going through the roof and ever-changing marital laws, marriage is becoming more and more difficult.

An atheist has the option to date around without getting formally married, meaning they can at least get their physical needs met. But what about religious folks?

Imagine you are a broke guy who cannot afford marriage. Women nowadays have more options with the rise of social media and dating apps, so what do you do? You have two options: either pay for escorts or DIY, both of which are frowned upon in your religion. It is even stricter for Muslims, as dating is not allowed and they cannot go to clubs. People will judge you harshly from what I have seen. My Muslim friends told me about the fasting thing, but does it really work? Does it lower your sex drive, and won't it cause long-term health issues?

I personally think it's very hard to navigate life this way :/
